A glowing tradition, lantern festivals light up the skies of China every Lunar New Year, marking the return of the spring season and symbolizing the reuniting of family. Its colorful displays of floating, fiery lanterns has brought tourists from around the world. At the Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival, artisans from Sichuan and Zigong will showcase ornate handicrafts including palm leaf weaving, sugar painting and Shu embroidery. 39 illuminated lanterns will also be on display, along with nightly cultural performances to truly immerse yourself in this experience. Don't forget to satisfy your appetite with Chinese and traditional fair food and beverages.
