Grove City
About Grove City
Founded in 1852, the once small village of Grove City, Ohio has matured into a city of more than 30,000 people, and is now regarded as one of the premier suburbs of the Columbus Metro area. Located in the southwestern area of Columbus and measuring just 14 square miles in size, Grove City can boast of statistics and amenities that belie its modest size. This working-class area is home to many of those who make Columbus's economy thrive, and return home each day to the third safest suburb for nearly thirty miles. There are nine major housing developments in the area: Quail Creek, Concord Lakes, Pinnacle, Creekside, Hoover Park, Hoover Crossing, Meadow Grove, Indian Trails and Parkridge. Residents need not travel to the big city to spend their hard-earned coin, either. Grove City offers a diverse array of places to shop, including Wal-Mart, Target, AJ Wright and TJ Maxx, most of which are located in the eastern part of town just next to the I-270 interstate on-ramp. Diversions in this Grove City include the Star Cinemas on Stringtown road, a number of franchise restaurants and drinking establishments, horse racing at Beulah Park, and The Gardens at Gantz Farm. The Gardens are divided into the Gardens of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Major gyms in the area include Curves, Murph's, and the YMCA. If you have children and Columbus is on your mind, then take a look at Grove City in Columbus Ohio. You won't be disappointed.
