The University District comprises 2.8 acres just 2 miles north of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Nestled in among the variety of unique residential neighborhoods, off campus student neighborhood including high rise dormitories, mixed retail businesses, churches, schools, human services agencies, and many other commercial districts, you will also find the Ohio State University, a standard of higher learning. A place where families can learn, work, and play together. Where the arts and cultural society work in harmony along with the blending in of historic structures and natural features makes the University District a diverse community in the state of Ohio. The University District's various community organizations have worked together to help shape the area into a well balanced community and provides a rich data base of knowledge for those interested in moving to the area to work or further their education.
