Who this in person service event is for:
Ages 4-12
Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.
What you'll be doing:
Seeds of Caring is partnering with the National Veterans Memorial and Museum to show our appreciation to veterans visiting the museum this Memorial Day. Families will grow in empathy as we learn about and honor our veterans and active service members. Children will assemble appreciation bags and create thank you cards. Afterwards, families are encouraged to explore the museum with a scavenger hunt. Admission to the museum is free for participating Seeds of Caring families.
COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events:
This is an indoor event and masks are optional. Please review our COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming before registering for this event.
Specific Instructions:
All supplies will be provided.
Why you'll be asked to donate:
On the next page you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for Columbus-area kids.
Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
