Storytellers in costume will describe harvest and funeral traditions of the first occupants of the Harrison House in the early 1800s as well as the Halloween rituals practiced by occupants of the House in the Victorian era. There will also be a telling of early ghost stories, including “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”, featuring an appearance by the Headless Horseman. Foodstuffs of the time periods being discussed will also be provided.
