Event Details
Who this In Person Event is for:
Ages 2-8. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants.
What we'll be doing:
Children and families will sit on blankets outside the senior center while Joanie Calem, an experienced folk singer/songwriter, will lead families in making music to brighten the days of residents at Stygler Commons.
Afterwards, children will create seasonal pumpkin crafts for the residents and decorate the sidewalks with cheerful chalk messages.
COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Events:
Please review our COVID-19 Protocol for In Person Programming before registering for this event. This is an outdoor event and masks are required. Temperature checks may be done at check-in out of an abundance of caution for our higher-risk senior friends. This event is rain or shine and will move indoors if needed due to weather.
Specific Instructions:
Families should bring masks and a blanket to sit on. All supplies will be provided.
Why you'll be asked to donate:
Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
